There is a diamond in
my rose
I watered it and it
started to grow
It shoots towards the
sky
Showing off its
glittering light
Turning heads of
strangers passing by
Who knew there could be
a diamond in a rose?
This surprises me too
Because this was so rare
It has caused so many
to stare
A diamond! A diamond!
A diamond in a rose!
It was simply amazing
This must have been
what many spoke about
True beauty but not
beauty itself
Possesses amazing
abilities to go with it as well
Don’t be fooled this
diamond was in the soil
Before it was shaped to
perfection to make it worthwhile
It was then placed upon
my rose
Where it added its
luster to make my rose exposed.
